How far did Jesus walk?
Let's take a look at the level of physical activity that Jesus likely had in his life. According to some biblical researchers, Jesus walked at least 21,525 miles, almost the distance around the world at the equator, from age 4 or five to age 33. This walking included 400 miles from Egypt to Nazareth; 18,000 miles from Nazareth to Jerusalem and return by age 30; and 3,125 miles during his three-year ministry. Jesus walked the areas that now include Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Israel and Lebanon. The longest mile that Jesus walked was the last one to Calvary where he was crucified on the cross for you and me. wz
